Frequently Asked Questions

The rooms are available from 15:00 the day you arrive. On the day of your departure, you must leave the room by 12:00.

If you would like to keep the room later than 12:00, you can ask about this at Reception when you arrive. We do not always have the capacity to offer a later checkout from the room.

We have different cancellation policies which vary depending on how you have booked your stay:

1.     If you have booked a room through our website or elsewhere on the net, you can cancel your stay for free until 24 hours before your expected arrival.

2.     If you have booked through Reception or our office, you must cancel the room 48 hours before your expected arrival.

3.     If you have booked a meeting and overnight stay or several rooms for a larger group, you will find a cancellation policy in the terms and conditions which we have sent you via e-mail.

You pay in Reception when you depart.

Yes, all of our guests staying with us have free access to the pools and saunas.

No, the pools and saunas are only for guests of the hotel. But if you have booked a spa treatment, a trip to the pools and saunas is also included in the package.

The pools and saunas are open every day from 07:00-22:00.

Yes, you can borrow a bathrobe from us. If you need additional bathrobes, you can rent them at Reception. It costs 60 kroner per bathrobe.

All children are welcome in the pools and saunas. The exception is Fridays and Saturdays between 18:00 and 22:00. Then the pools and saunas are reserved for guests over 18 years.

Yes, we have wireless internet throughout the entire hotel. It is free for everyone.

Yes. We have rooms which are designed for wheelchair users. The room is 33 square meters large, bathroom included. The entry door to the room is 79 centimeters wide, and the bathroom has a sliding door which is 77 centimeters wide – without a threshold. There are rails on each side of the toilet. We also have an accessible toilet at Reception.

All of our rooms have a thermostat. You can control the heating yourself. We have no rooms with cooling systems. Open the windows and let in the fresh air from the fjord.

No, out of consideration to guests with allergies, it is not allowed for pets to stay with us.

Of course. You will find the changing room on the second floor. 

Our single beds are 120 x 200 centimeters. The double beds are 180 x 200 centimeters.

You can rent a cot from us. Let us know before you come, or ask at Reception.

All guest rooms and balconies are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outdoors in a dedicated area in the garden or at an indoor smoking pavilion by the reception.
