Day SPA
Day SPA visitors book SPA treatments with a duration of 50 minutes minimum per person. The rate charged includes access to the wellness area before and/or after your treatment. The day SPA is open from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m A relaxing and calm experience of our wellness area is important for all guests; hence the wellness area is only open for overnight guests and day spa guests.
Wellness Area
Access to wellness area is free for all guests with room and/or SPA reservation. A relaxing and peaceful experience of our wellness area is important for all guests; hence visits without hotel reservations are not possible. Our wellness area is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for guests staying at the hotel. On Fridays and Saturdays after 6 p.m. access to the wellness area is reserved for adults only.
One bathrobe per person and stay is included in accommodation and SPA treatment. If you require an extra bathrobe, this can be loaned at reception for a fee of NOK 60.
Children in the wellness area
There is no age limit for children using our wellness area. Children 0-15 years are welcome accompanied by an adult.
Please bring baby swim diapers for your babies or purchase these from reception. On Fridays and Saturdays after 6 p.m. access to the wellness area is reserved for adults only.

Restaurant
We offer breakfast, lunch and a three course daily menu.
Dining exclusively for our hotel guests and SPA guests. Outside our regular meals, a selection of light meals can be ordered in one of our hotel lounges.
Guests with allergies or special meal requests are asked to inform about these prior to arrival. We offer allergy-adjusted menus as well as options for vegetarians and vegans.
Breakfast times:
Monday to Friday: 07.00-12.30.
Saturday and Sunday: 07.00-10.30.
Lunch times:
Monday to Friday: Start your lunch between 12.00 and 12.30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Start your lunch between 13.00 and 13.30
Dinner times:
Start your dinner between 19.00 and 20.30
Our Sunday lunch guests are welcome to use our wellness area on Sunday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. against a fee, which can be found in your booking confirmation.

Air condition
Solstrand uses a ventilation system. No air condition is available or needed.
Baby Change
Baby change room available in the reception.
Bed size
All our beds are 90cm x 200cm. Most rooms are twin rooms with two beds next to each other. Some of our upgraded rooms have double bed consisting of two 90cm x 200cm beds with a 180cm upper mattress. Baby beds can be provided upon request.
Boat quay
There are two boat quays available on the property; the bigger one measuring 45m in length and 9m in depth. Both boat quays may be used for embarkation and disembarkation, as well as for receptions. In order to guarantee free access for all our guests, the quays are solely usable for arrival and departure. Boats may be moored at Os visitor quay, http://www.osgjestehamn.no/.
Accommodation for children
For families with young children we are happy to offer our standard family rooms with double bed and bunk bed. Families with older children can choose between our junior suites or book separate rooms next to each other. We also offer room solutions with connecting doors. Due to the spacious building size, baby call will not work. Children are welcome to play in the large hotel garden; there is no indoor playpark for children. The hotel does not employ nannies or childminders.
Electric car charging station
Solstrand offers two charging stations for electric vehicles with two access points each, i.e. 4 access points in total. These charging access points are of contact type 2, charging 7.4kw/32A maximum.
Visitors requiring to charge their electric car are asked to bring their own charging cable, contact type 2, to the charging station.
Our reception will assist you with activating the charging station; charging fee NOK 200 per charge. When your car is fully charged, please free the charging station by parking your car at the hotel parking area free of charge.
Gift cards
Gift cards for accommodation, for SPA treatments, or for an optional amount can be purchased here.
Internet
We offer free broadband internet in the entire hotel building.
Parking
Solstrand offers free outdoor and indoor parking for its hotel guests. Handicap parking is available close to main entrance.
Payment
In general, payment upon check-out. Invoices may be sent to companies with VAT number upon pre-arrangement. Invoicing fee NOK 50, payment 10 days upon invoicing date.
Prepayment of 50% for reservations of 5 room nights or more will be charged to buyer’s credit card 1 day prior to arrival.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the property. This also includes the hotel garden.
Guests with physical challenges
Please get in touch with the booking team if you require a wheel chair accessible hotel room. Room size: 33m² including bathroom, entrance door: 79cm wide, entrance door bathroom: 77cm wide with sliding door, arm rest on each side of the toilet, no threshold.
The hotel is also equipped with a handicap toilet close to reception.
