About the class

Think less – feel more.

We invite you on this 60-minute yoga journey, where we explore ourselves through gentle movement, breathing, and mindfulness.
With a curious and kind approach, we strengthen and lengthen the body, creating space, ease, and a sense of balance within.

This class is rooted in Hatha Vinyasa yoga and supported by Synergy Yoga principles, grounded in a scientific understanding of the needs of our modern body and nervous system.
The practice is designed to leave you feeling grounded, connected, and open to the present moment.

When the weather allows, we take the practice outside and move in connection with Norway’s beautiful natural surroundings.

This is Franzi

Hei fellow yogi, I am Franzi from Germany. I have been a part of team Solstrand for the last summer seasons. Nature inspires me deeply, which is one of the main reasons why I find myself returning to Norway again and again. I adore Norway’s vast, wild, often quite rough and unpredictable nature, which invites us to be flexible and adaptable in order to truly indulge in its beauty.

As long as I can remember, I have been enthusiastic about moving my body in every way, shape, and form. When I was 11, I started kickboxing and karate and practiced for 10 years, including international competitions. I learned a lot about discipline, respect, and intentional training, but also about stress and pressure.

I have always loved dancing, running, swimming, and hiking, and later added weight training into the mix. All this time, I also dabbled in different yoga practices and realized its power lies in the transformation of my mind, not just my body. More and more, I learned to appreciate it not merely as a physical practice, but as a way to slow down, be intentional with my focus, and become grounded in the present.

I learned, and will forever be in the process of learning, how to connect more deeply with myself, my community, and the environment.
Practicing yoga profoundly shapes how I, literally and metaphorically, move through life.

I hold over 400 hours of yoga teacher training in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Modern Synergy Yoga, and continue to learn and evolve every day.

I let this inspire my yoga practice, in which I try to find both groundedness and openness without aiming for perfection. I deeply believe that yoga is not about perfecting one specific pose, but about showing up with curiosity and kindness, about creating a space where body and mind, breath and movement, can come together without judgment.
